Insomnia is far more common than most people think, most of us have experienced sleepless nights whether that's before and exam or big occasion or when we're worried or stressed. However, real and prolonged Insomnia can have a huge negative effect on the body and on your quality of life.
The good news is that it is often a protection mechanism designed to keep you safe. The brain actually thinks it's doing you a favour keeping you awake. In some cases all we have to do is remove that belief and you can enjoy a good nights sleep almost straight away.
